Late last month The Retina Centre opened the doors of its highly anticipated second practice. Conveniently located just off Childs Road at 2 Supply Drive Epping; the new centre will provide the community of Whittlesea with quality medical and surgical treatment options for a wide variety of retinal diseases including diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.
The new Retina Centre is equipped with a wide range of modern facilities including a visual field analyser; optical coherence tomography for the diagnosis of retinal conditions and a fundus fluorescein angiography camera for the diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy.
The centre also provides laser treatment for different eye conditions as well as on-site facilities for small surgical procedures.

To celebrate the occasion, a grand opening night was held at the clinic on Wednesday the 29th of November. The opening was attended by a number of local optometrists as well as many of the suppliers who helped set up the new clinic.

Guests enjoyed champagne and canapes supplied by our generous sponsor Bayer and were treated to a tour of the new practice by owner and head ophthalmologist Dr Saf Bassili.
